Class activity on Agriculture:

GEOGRAPHY INTRODUCTION TO GRADE 6

With the aim of enlightening the students about the study of the world around us through the subject “Geography,“the middle school geography department had organized a small presentation for class sixth in Kalandi on the  21^st of August ,2012.

The presentation was based an introduction to geography, in which  the students were made aware about  the important themes of geography, the features that define Earth, how to study the earth, and how to use various geographic tools. Students were also introduced about the use the skills and concepts they need to learn about themajor world regions.The main idea was to teach our students that how geography is related to their day to day work. The students were more excited to know about geography and they had lots of questions and they expressed lots of curiosity to know more. The presentation was highly appreciated by the students and they are excited about their geography lessons….. 

Tourism:

It was a great experience for me to have introduced the topic tourism to grade vii in middle school. I was fascinated to see and listen the ways in which everyone had illustrated why people visited particular places, the impact of tourism on the country being visited by many foreign tourists, ways in which tourism has grown facilitating a country’s economy, but can also cause harm at the same time if appropriate measures are not taken .The points meant to be kept in mind were that how could countries ensure that tourism benefits the development. I am delighted to see the amount of work and the awareness this young generation has about promoting tourism and saving the nation from any kind of damage .Here is a glimpse of work done by the kids.
