Land forms Formed by Coastal Process”.

On the 23rd of March 2014, Class 8E had a general discussion based on our geography lesson which is “Landforms Formed by Coastal Process”. Before going further, Coast are zones whereland meets as well as interacts with the sea. Coast change constantly based on coastal processes such as erosion and deposition. During geography period, class had studied different types of landforms which are formed by coastal processes. Some of the landforms which are formed include: 1) Cliff & Shore Platforms. 2) Headlands and Bays. 3) Beaches. 4) Split & Tombolo’s. These information above state the 4 main landforms which are formed through coastal processes. 3-D model of the landforms which are formed through coastal processes was used for explaining about the coasts.. This specific model was exhibited by a few students from 8F during the Grade 8 Exhibition. Based on the 3-D model and the explanation the class had become more interactive and further the students have understood the topic “Land forms Formed by Coastal Process”.
